You can do your part by helping clean up your own neighborhood. The city of Cedar Rapids offers free mint green bags that can be used for neighborhood trash. The bags can then be set out on your normal trash day and they will picked up free of charge. There is no official adoption process, just the willingness to make a difference in your neighborhood.
